Doula Training

Offered by the Good Hearts in collaboration with the Peaceful Presence Project

Our Doula training will provide you with the practical skills and strategies you need to confidently and competently show up for others who are facing serious and terminal illness. It will also prepare you for the National End of Life Doula Alliance (NEDA) exam. A proficiency badge from NEDA signifies that these Core Competencies have been met. Healthcare organizations and families will know when you display the NEDA End of Life Doula badge that you achieved a high standard of professionalism.

The training consists of 9 weekly sessions delivered via Zoom and facilitated by The Good Heart’s directors, Tashi Taliaferro and Emily Cavey. The cost of the course is $799 and the class size is limited.

A Special Note for Nurses. This course is approved by the California Board of Registered Nursing to provide 24 continuing education contact hours.

• Starting on September 9th, 2025 we will meet via Zoom for 9 weeks, ending on November 19, 2025.
