What is a Legacy Project?

A legacy project offers a heartfelt and personal opportunity for anyone, whether they are in hospice, nearing the end of life, or in good health.

It is an opportunity to contemplate their journey, impart their insights, and create a lasting treasure for their family and the world.

This project can be shaped in various ways, tailored to the unique interests and desires of the person creating it.

Legacy Project Ideas

A Legacy Project can take many uniquely individual forms. For example:

Creating a memory book or scrapbook is a wonderful example of a legacy project. It can include photographs, keepsakes, and written reflections from a person's life, serving as a beautiful visual narrative of their journey.

Or it can take the form of a memory keepsake box, a family cookbook, or a recipe box filled with cherished dishes for family and friends.

Another meaningful legacy project could involve recording a series of audio or video messages for loved ones, where the creator shares stories, wisdom, and heartfelt messages they wish to leave behind.

Or, one might consider expressing themselves through art, writing a poem or short story, composing a song, or engaging in any creative endeavor that resonates personally.

These are only a few examples of endless possibilities of legacy projects that can provide comfort and a sense of connection for loved ones long after the creator has passed.
